Responsibilities:
- Manage and uphold AsiaWorld‑Expo (AWE) security standards to safeguard life and property, including planning, coordinating, and executing emergency drills and exercises.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Airport Authority, Tsing Ma Control Area, MTR Corporation, and relevant Government Departments on traffic and incident management, including special parking arrangements, temporary car parks, roadworks, marshalling areas, and temporary traffic arrangements for both day‑to‑day operations and event‑related activities.
- Oversee the operation of the Control Room to support daily and event‑related operations, including incident reporting and emergency management.
- Lead the Venue Operations Duty Team to ensure facilities inspections are conducted effectively, and collaborate closely with the Facilities Management Department to ensure timely rectification of identified defects.
- Ensure the performance and operational procedures of the Venue Operations Duty Team meet AWE standards and key performance indicators.
- Manage access control for staff, vehicles, contractors, and service providers.
- Monitor the performance of security personnel provided by service vendors and conduct quality inspections to ensure house rules are properly enforced in both public circulation areas and back‑of‑house areas.
- Develop, review, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), and deliver relevant training for the Venue Operations Duty Team and Security Control Room staff.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in property management and MICE / entertainment event operations within a sizable MICE or entertainment venue or the hospitality industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. - Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally and respectfully with stakeholders at all levels, and a strong client‑centred service mindset.
- Knowledge of local regulatory and legal requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work on shift duty; possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
